Idiocy in Political Discord: Michelle Bachmann compares possible high taxes to the holocaust

 Donald Trump with his birther nonsense and boorish profanity laced tyraid at a Las Vegas speaking engagement (by the way very presidential Donald); has taken up the lion share of  media attention when it comes to stupidity in politics.

   But Congresswoman and possible Republican Presidential contender Michelle Bachmann (R, MN-6) still has the magic. Saturday speaking at a New Hampshire Republican event, she warned that America is seeing a dramatic loss of her economic liberty. Then she did what so many mountebanks and heartless opportunists do when they want to galvanize a crowd. She compared possible high tax rates to the holocaust.

Idiotic Statements in Political Discord

Many politicans have unfortunatly throughout American History used often thinly vailed attacks on racial minorities and the downtrodden to excite the most narrow minded and fervent elements of thier political base. This is especially true of conservatives, seeking to rollback laws and reducing funding to programs aimed at minorities in order to shrink the size of government.

But last week, when the Minnesota State Senate was debating ammendments to the K-12 Education Omnibus bill, which would slash funding to integregation programs and rollback laws aimed at desegregation in three major cities  in the North star state; State Senator Dan Hall (R), either spoke before his thoughts were intelligently arranged or he tore away that thin vail to expose the ugly face of bigotry. According to the Minnesota Independent   he said that integration had ‘destroyed Minneapolis”.

“I watched Minneapolis get destroyed, so I not only didn’t want my kids in the school system… I took them out of Minneapolis because they ruined our neighborhoods with integration and segregation.”
